face to face




The face to face programe held on 23rd morning became a platform for the discussion of the various environmental problems, the world is facing today. It was the discussion on the play “Sahyande Makan” directed by Sankar Venkiteswaran, that paved the way to a debate on the contemporary problems upto global warming.

The director of the play said that the Elephant in the play Sahyande Makan is a metaphor of nature itself. Nature in also at the verge of an outburst, unable to bear the tortures inflicted upon her.

“Beyond ideas and thoughts, I have tried to deliver a complete experience through this play” – Sankar said.

Earlier, the artistes of the play Mac Beki sharedt their thoughts on the political feedbacks of African Panorama with the delegates.
